On 17 April in Minsk international conference “Privatization and Market Liberalization in Belarus” took place. The organizers of the conference were Law Firm "Vlasova, Mikhel & Partners", TLS Alliance, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Investment Company "UNITER".
Within the framework of the event the participants of the conference actively discussed the experience of corporatization (equitisation) and denationalization of enterprises as well as prospective of privatization and improvement of market sphere in the Republic of Belarus. Specialists in the sphere of privatization from Lithuania and Latvia, representatives of foreign law and investment companies and representatives of the two largest stock exchanges of European region – RTS (Russia) and Warsaw Stock Exchange arrived to the conference in order to share their experience with the conference participants.
